WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
As part of the WINS Team's commitment to maintaining
and sustaining a clean and orderly school environment, we would like to intensify the implementation of sanitation and hygiene practices in our school. Therefore, we are promulgating this policy to ensure that our school remains a healthy and safe place for all students and staff. The policy is entitled the "WINS Sanitation and Hygiene Policy." In connection with this, we have reached an agreement
regarding waste management and sanitation in every classroom. There will be strict implementation of proper waste segregation, and we will follow the correct schedule for waste disposal. Therefore, we agreed to propose that sanctions be imposed on classrooms that violate the policy. The policy and guidelines are as follows: WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
1.Four (4) trash bins must be installed in each
classroom, properly labeled as "Malata” (Biodegradable), "Dili-Malata” (Non-Biodegradable), “Ma-Recycle” (Recyclable), and "Makatakod” (Infectious Waste). 2.Implement the "Tapat Mo, Linis Mo" policy. WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
3. Garbage will not be accepted in the MRF without
proper segregation. 4. All segregated garbage must be submitted to the MRF at 6:30-7:30 AM and 3:30-5:00 PM. 5. Do not throw garbage in the lobby, stairs, or on the ground. WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
6.If a section or individual fails to follow the above-mentioned
policies, the whole section must pay a fine of 10 pesos per garbage bin that is not organized. If the section does not follow the proper schedule of throwing the garbage at the MRF (at 6:30-7:30 AM and 3:30-5:00 PM) only, 50 pesos will be collected as fines. If policies 2 and 5 are violated three (3) times, the whole section must render community service as disciplinary action with the assistance of the Sanitation In-Charge Teacher. The WinS Leader will oversee the documentation to be submitted in hardcopy format. WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
7. A classroom that maintains proper segregation of garbage
and waste disposal for four (4) consecutive weeks will receive a reward from WINS. 8. Four (4) teachers per grade level will serve as the WINS sanitation in-charge to monitor and check the proper segregation and waste management in their assigned sections. Surprise inspections will be conducted twice a week. WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
9. Classroom WINS leaders are assigned to facilitate and
help monitor toothbrushing, handwashing, and hygiene kits among their classmates. They will oversee documentation and follow-up during the implementation of the program. 10. Students are required to bring their own container food in buying their own food/meal at the canteen. WiNS IN COORDINATION WITH ARH SCHOOL POLICY AND GUIDELINES
11. Female students must secure scratch paper for
wrapping their used sanitary pads during menstruation and observe proper disposal of the said garbage. WinS Monitoring Tool of Sanitation In-Charge Teachers
