Three Types of Disordered Menses

Make menses easier
• Follow the guidelines for period-health (no
sex during menses, use pads, no exercise,
avoid conflict and drama, no oil massage,
no long showers, etc.)
• For kapha and vata pains: one-inch of fresh
ginger boiled in 4 cups of water reduced to
one cup. Add jaggery, sucanat, or molasses.
• For pitta pains: boil cardamom, cloves,
sugar and rose petals in 4 cups water
reduced to one cup.
