Step 1: Introduce your topic

The first job of the introduction is to tell the reader what your topic is and why it's
interesting or important. This is generally accomplished with a strong opening
hook.

Step 2: Describe the background

This part of the introduction differs depending on what approach your


paper is taking.

Step 3: Establish your research problem

The next step is to clarify how your own research fits in and what problem it
addresses.
Step 4: Specify your objective(s)

Now you'll get into the specifics of what you


intend to find out or express in your research
paper.

Step 5: Map out your paper

The final part of the introduction is often


dedicated to a brief overview of the rest of the
paper.
How to Make a Citation Using Zotero

1. Download and install the Zotero application for your laptop/computer,


for connecting to the browser and to word, after that open the Zotero
application.

2. Look for the required journal on Google Scholar, then there is an


apostrophe icon under the journal link, click and select the refman,
then the list of biography /article authors has been saved in Zotero.

3. Download the article you need and you can also save the file on
Zotero.
4. Open the article document file, copy the part you want to quote.

5. Open word and paste it, in the menu bar select the zotero
menu.

6. Then select document preferences, after that the Citation Style


display appears as needed. You can choose a Citation Style or
a predefined biography form. For example select IEEE . Then
click OK.
7. Select add/edit Cicuration to create the source of the citation... By writing
the name of the journal or author it will appear which journal we are
referring to then enter... and a number code will appear to determine the
article from which journal we are taking, distinguishing which journal we
are referring to other.

8. After that click Add / Edit Biography to display the biography.
