BUFFALO MOSQUITO

BY MELDON, SAKI AND ZUN

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
WHAT IT EATS

• It eats smaller insects such as ants and termites and it also

sucks blood for its own growth.  It needs not only small
insects but also blood for its survival.
WHERE IT LIVES

• It can live everywhere, underground or in water, on land and it

can also fly. Although it can live everywhere, it’s  rare species
to be seen. It keeps their wing under their skin to not get their
wings wet when they are underwater or swimming . It expands
its legs when it is under water to swim.

HOW IT STINGS

• Its attack's at its enemy's weak spot. Like a soft area of their
enemy’s body. At the time its sting hits your body, you will
feel like you're about to vomit.
WHO IT STINGS

• It stings everything that tries to attack it, and that seems a

threat to it. It also sucks blood from people, mostly elderly
people. It is venomous. You can’t see it everywhere but if it
sucks your blood, it inflicts you and you will feel a kind of
electric that make you tremble. You have been bitten by a
mosquito so you may think the feeling is kind of the same, but
it is not. The sting of buffalo mosquito is more serious and
dangerous.
WHEN IT ATTACKS

• They attack when something tries to attack them or seem as a

threat to them. it doesn’t sting you if you do not do anything to
it. It stings everything that attacks it. Important thing you need
to note down is it changes color when it is hungry. The normal
color of it is black but when it is hungry, it turns into red. They
become angry when they are hungry like humans. And they
sucks the blood from everything that is seen. So be careful
when you see red buffalo mosquito.

WHERE IT ATTACKS

• It attacks on its prey/enemy’s weak spot. Like a debilitating

spot. For example, for humans they will attack our soft skin.
THE EFFECT OF THEIR BITE/STING ON HUMANS, ON ANIMALS
AND ON THEMSELVES

• They are limited to sting or suck blood from everyone. If they

sting or suck blood many times a day, they may kill
themselves. They cannot attack their preys millions of times.

For  smaller insects, they are weak and can’t bear buffalo
mosquitoes’ poisonous stings. It contains venomous liquids,
and it can also contain dangerous viruses. So, its preys die
immediately after they are stung. But for you, you can go to
the hospital and get a shot after you are stung. But if you don’t
go to the nearest hospital in time, note that your life will end
soon, and you can’t flee at all!
