INTRODUCTION
Flow production (often known as mass or line
production) involves a continuous movement of items
through the production process. This means that
when one task is finished the next task must start
immediately. Therefore, the time taken on each task
must be the same.

Flow production involves the use of production lines such as in a television

manufacturer. It is appropriate when firms are looking to produce a high
volume of similar items. Some of the big brand names that have consistently
high demand are most suitable for this type of production.

•As a leader, a manager and an owner in an organization want to build
long-term success and increase revenue, we need to know type of
production processes it is important, allows managers to make more

meeting the demands of a growing consumer market. The advantages
include high efficiency, standardization, reduced cost per unit, quality

CONCLUSION control, increased productivity, reduced inventory, improved flexibility,

reduced lead times, improved safety, reduced material handling costs
and enhanced customer satisfaction. However, challenges arise in
terms of inflexible to consumer demand, disengaged workforce, difficult
to restructure production, high initial investment, and environmental
impact concerns must also be acknowledged. Balance between
efficient production, customization, and sustainability is crucial.
Manufacturers must adapt their production methods, embrace
responsible practices, and consider alternative approaches like lean
manufacturing or batch production when necessary. Ultimately, flow
production remains a powerful tool in meeting the needs of a global
market, to address the evolving challenges and expectations of the
modern world.
