The Ede’s Ways Of Life
Rice is the Ede’s
main food crop
(The swidden rice field after the harvest)
(Pigs,chicken and buffaloes are the most
varied animals and poultry raised on family
farms.)
(The Ede
people used
bamboo to
make
furnitures in
their house.)
With the help of
looms,the Ede
can weave cloths
easily.
The Ede’s House
The Ede’s is on
stilts, has the shape
of a long boat,
whose length is
from 15 to 100
meters.
(The Ede’s villages comprise 40 to 50 houses,usually built side by side.)

The Ede people can be easily
identified by their costumes.
