Paper Paper Game Menu

Instructions
1. Sit in a circle
2. Pick a ‘paper hunter’
3. Send them outside or cover their eyes
4. Pass around the paper, chanting ‘paper,
paper where is the paper?”
5. When the teacher says stop, the ‘paper
hunter’ has to try and work out who has
the paper.
6. When the paper is found, the person
hiding it becomes the paper hunter.

Instructions
1. Students sit in a circle and one
student becomes the ‘paper
hunter’, who stands outside the
door/cover their eyes.
2. Give the students one small piece
of folded paper that they can fit in
their hand (post-it notes work well).
3. Students chant ‘paper, paper, where
is the paper?’, as they pass the
paper around the circle
4. Teacher calls out ‘stop’ and asks
students all clasp their hands
together to hide the paper.

5. The student in the role of ‘paper hunter’
comes back and stands in the middle of
the circle and has to guess who is
holding the paper.
6. Once they discover who has the paper,
that person becomes the ‘paper hunter’
and previous ‘paper hunter’ sits down in
their spot.
Tip: Encourage your students to trick
each other. Students will get excited
and try to copy your sentences and try
new language. Say stuff like “It’s me!
I have the paper! Can you smell it?”
