About
Sonargaon
 Through visiting Sonargaon we learned more about the rich history of the ancient Bengal region.
 Sonargaon is one of the old capitals of the historic region of Bengal and was an administrative center of
eastern Bengal. Its actual name was Svarnagrama and it is located at the bank of Brahmaputra river.
 Sonargaon is home to some of the oldest buildings in Bangladesh. Its glorious period was in 1338 AD.
 It was the capital of the ancient kingdom ruled by Isa Khan of Bengal. It was captured my Mughals in

17th century. Mainly middle or upper class people inhabited it during that period.
 It was the capital of sultanate ruled by Fakhruddin Mubarak Shah and his son during Delhi sultanate.

 This place was a great political and trading center for people. This is why Sonargaon possesses rich

CONCLUSION
Time to Say Goodbye
 We had left the base camp at 4:30 p.m.
 And then we got to the bus and it almost took us 30 minutes to leave
because the teachers had to check if all the students were there.
 Then, we had finally started our journey on the way back to school.
 We were given food and drinks on the bus.
 Me and some of my friends had also played UNO on the bus.
 It was fire on the way back to school.
 We had played all sorts of music.
 But, most importantly the thing I learned was that having a good time
with our friends is also the part of education.
 And, lastly the visit to Sonargaon was a one to enlighten people’s minds
