 Introduction
In this presentation I will be talking about intended use (Main purpose) of Man United and
MTV websites. I will also be explaining the features that have been used. I will also be talking
about how that feature is useful (Presentation,Usability,Accessibility,Performance)
Man UTD
 What is the purpose of the website?
The purpose of this website is that it tells us the latest fixtures.latest updates
and also the old ones, It is also live, this website is easy to use because it has
a search bar so if you want to know something that's not on the home page you
can check it from that also the navigation bar has a lot of options so it's easy to
access something.
Intended use of Man U

This site is all about a football club. It shows all the fixtures.the first page
shows us when the latest game is going to start. Also shows us what's new for
example the coaches talk about new signing or any improvements getting done
by the team.
 Features of the website

The feaure of the website, It has a sign in/log in, images, also if you sign in you can watch
games live for free on it. Also you can see the future game scores(live). Also it has the latest
news,it has recent interviews,a shop to buy footballs kit etc,the latest scores,tickets for the
games,a membership,apps for the fans so they can be alert and enjoy everything about this
club.
Strengths and weaknesses of Man U

The strengths of this website is that it live so it gives you all the latest updates of
the game or previous games. Also there's a sign in so you can be a
member(family) with the club and also you can get additional features for
example watching the games live. Also they have socials so you can see things
on that too.

The weaknesses of this website is that there is too many pictures and it can be
overwhelming for users with anxiety. Also the logo is too small it needs to stand
out. The navigation bar is squished together.
 Usability

The navigation bar shows many options , each

option has a different use for example there's a
option called tickets this is will show the prices for
each tickets for the games. To get to the
navigation bar there are 3 lines at the top left.
Click that and it will show you all the options.
 Man U

Man u has a log in/sign in, has a shop, museum to visit,its live, variety of images, a
search bar, apps for fans,tickets to buy for the games,fixtures. However, it doesn't have
an accessories for people that have disability.n
 Performance of man u
The performance is outstanding and one thing that is great is that how responsive
it is compared to some websites also the speed of the websites depends how
fast the networks works.
 Presentation of Man U
The colour of Manchester United is red. So the home page of
etc are all got the red to show its Manchester united club. Also
the background isn't too dark or light, so that it doesn't affect
the people that overwhelm with anxiety.the background is
white and the text is black. Also the text is in a normal font so
it's easy for people to read.
 Accessibility of man u
The accessibility is good due to the pictures not being too light or dark also the text
is the right size to read and it doesn't affect other people. Also in the videos it has
subtitles soit can be easy for the people that are deaf. The colours are up to
standard so it doesn't overwhelm people with anxiety.
MTV
 Accessibility mtv
The accessibility is good but it also has some disadvantage. Due to the videos
which have subtitles they won't always be accurate so this will cause confusion
for the partially deaf. The colours are too bright so this not very beneficial for the
colour blind people.
 What is the purpose of the website?

The purpose of this website is that it shows TV shows and movies so it is used
for all type of ages , it also shows you when the movie or tv show is going to
start so if you decide to watch it on your tv you know when it's going to start.
MTV is the place to watch original series,discover new music and stay up to
date on the latest celebrity news.
 Intended use of MTV
The use of MTV is to upload movies and tv shows to the
community. The first slide shows the first few suggested
movies/tv show for everyone to watch also shows the one
that's either new uploaded or what is trending the most.
 Futures of the website
The future of this website is that at the bottom of the website
they have 3 socials (facebook,instagram,youtube) also has
images.
 Presentation of MTV

The background is black. It has too many colours which may

overwhelm the people with anxiety. Also some people may not
like the fact that the colour of the text is white so it's hard to
read . also some banners etc are the same colour as the text
so its hard to to read for some users.
 Strengths and weaknesses of
MTV

The strengths of this website is that it has less pictures so its alright for users that
might have anxiety. It also has socials so you can track them on there socials for
example facebook, instagram and youtube. Also the background isn't too bright
and doesnt hurt the users eyes.

The weaknesses of this website is that it doesn't have features for example latest
movies or tv shows etc. it doesn't have a contact number.
 Performance of MTV
The performance for the website is outstanding and maybe hard to process for
some people that struggle with loads of pictures and writing. Could be with adds
or you have to pay, could even be the quality.
 Usability

There's not too much options of this navigation bar.

But to access the navigation bar you have to click the
3 lines on the top left and it will take you straight
there. The navigation bar shows you the home page,
shows, videos and tv schedule. The only
disadvantage of this navigation bar is that when your
moving your mouse and you go left abit it quickly
goes off the navigation bar back to whatever page
you was on before for example the home page.
 References

MTV

MTV is not a very suitable website. It doesn't have many features. It has images, time schedule, it
has a sign in/log in.

Man U

Man U is a very trustable website to use because it keeps you updated with every game they have
played.
 Conclusion

I prefer Man U than MTV because MTV is more efficient. Also has more information
and pictures, has way more option on the navigation bar. It's more interesting and fun
so it makes the user more attracted to the website. The reason why i didn't pick MTV
is because its too boring it doesnt give the user the eye, there is less information and
very few pictures. Also the navigation bar has less option so it's not really
exciting/interesting.
