Introduction

 Curriculum is the sum total of all the experiences


which are to be organized for a particular group.
 A good curriculum evolves its basis from the
needs of the group for which it has been
designed.
 Special education curriculum being the special
needs , is an account of activities to be organized
for handicapped children .

What is curriculum

All the learning which is planed and guided by


the school, whether it is carried on in group or
individually, inside or outside the school.
A detailed plan for instruction set by policy-makers.

philosophy of teaching of the instructors as well
as of the educational institution serve as two of
the principles upon which a curriculum is based.

individual differences vary according to varying
abilities and disabilities.

instructors organize the instructional units for
their course.

readings, lessons, and assessments that achieve
educational goals.

and psychomotor skills necessary for students
