Motor Protector (LM-300, LM-310)

1. Overview
LM-300, LM-310 series microprocessor-based motor protector is intended for 380V low-voltage system, used as a new intelligent integrated unit to protect,
monitor or control motor feeder terminals. In addition to the advanced functions of motor protecting, controlling, LM-300, LM-310 series also record the following
important motor information: Equipment maintenance record, service record, tripping record and rated parameters, etc., which bring great convenience to manage
modernized equipment.

The derivative products LM-300E, LM-310E series have additional function of tE time protection, which is suitable for continuous working motors of the type
"Increased Safety" (e. g.: type YA, type YA2), for which the obvious extra temperature rise will not result from easy-starting or non-frequent starting, and the inverse
time overload protective unit can be adopted. Type selection must be strictly carried out according to the descriptions stated in this instruction manual when
protection functions of motors of the type "Increased Safety" are applied.

2. Features
"tE time protection" conforms to relevant overload-protection regulations of increased-safety explosion-proof motors(GB3836. 3-2000);
AC sampling to measure three-phase current, automatically calculate zero-sequence current, no extra zero-sequence transformer needed;
Automatically accumulate the motor operating time; keep motor tripping records for three times;
Chinese characters LCD for LM300 series, while digital display for LM310 series;
Four binary inputs are optional, LEDs are fixed on the device panel;
One binary input is offered for motor process interlocking;
Remote control contact is available for remote control;
Perfect electrical and safety isolation is available inside for analog input, switch input/output modules;
Constant hardware and software self-checking is available to guarantee the maximum reliability;
Serial communication bus RS485 can be connected to intelligent monitoring unit with motor-control function in various monitoring systems.

3. Main functions
Protection Functions: Extra-long time starting, thermal overload, open-phase, three-phase current unbalance, zero-sequence over-current, rotor- blocking
protection and tE time protection.

Measurement functions: Measure and display three-phase current and zero-sequence current.
