1. The class will be divided into two groups.
2. Each group will perform one of the Traditional
Asian Theater through dancing and singing.
3. Each group will be given a musical piece
depending on the chosen Traditional Asian
Theater.

Performance 30%
Choreography and Originality 25%
Theme and Music 15%
Costume and Audience Impact 10%
Voice Quality 20%

Performance Task!
Peking Opera
1. In singing, you will sing one of the folksongs of
China, the Mo Li Hua or Jasmine Flower
Song.
2. In dancing, your musical piece will be the Shui
Long Yin or the Chant of the Water Dragon
you will interpret it through dance.
3. Your props to be used are the flag and a
bamboo stick.
Performance Task!
Kabuki Theater
1. In singing, you will sing one of the folksong of
Japan, the Sakura or Cherry Blossom Song.
2. In dancing, your musical piece will be the
Traditional Kabuki Music-Yuzuki and you will
interpret it through dance.
3. Your props to be used is fan and a bamboo
stick.
