Livings things are the things which have


life

Examples: Plants, tiger, lion, dog,


sparrow, grass-hopper, salmon
CHARACTERISTICS OF LIVING
THINGS
Living things can move from on e place to another
All the living things can move from one place to another.

But why ?
These living things move for food, shelter or sometimes for protecting themselves.
WHY AND HOW
For food:-
Herbivores- Move to eat grass and other plant products like buffalos
Carnivores- Hunt other animals (eat other animals)

For Shelter:-
Birds go to different trees by flying in the same why the animals do so.

For Protection:-
Carnivores eat herbivores for example the deer runs away with legs to hid form leopords,
lions,tigers, ect
BUT HOW DO PLANTS DO
SUCH
Plants move but do not move from one place to another.
For example:
Sunflower moves toward the sun
Also plants like touch me not (Mimosa Plant) fold there leaves when we touch them

There are more examples that I can list but this is enough for grade 3.
