    We can divide ages in three cathegories :

    Paleozoic Mesozoic Cenozoic


    The Paleozoic era
    It is divided Into 4 main periods, the first two are:

     The Cambrian period.  The Devonian period


    The period where animals started to appear in the sea The period where animals started to appear on the landscape
    The Paleozoic era
    The other two are:

    The Carboniferous period The Permian period


    When there was lots of oxygen in the air The period of the Graet Dying
    The Mesozoic era
    It is divided in 3 periods:

    The Triassic period The Jurassic period The Cetaceous pariod


    The Cenozoic era
    It is divided in 2 main periods:

    The Tertiary period The Quaternary period
