WOULD LIKE LIKE

When you like something it means you always like it (or usually). When


you would like something it means you want it (now)

Would like want (used to order food) Like Used to talk about things
(a little more polite) you always like.

Would like + noun I would like a sandwich. (Quisiera un sándwich.)


(I’d like a sandwich.) I like ice cream. (Me gusta el helado)
Would like + to infinitive I would like to eat a sandwich. I don’t like ice cream.
(I’d like to eat a sandwich.)
Do you like ice cream? Yes, I do/ No, I
In questions: Would you like something to drink? don’t.
What would you like to drink?
