PRESENTATION ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE DISH

General instructions

Make groups of 4-6 students. Prepare a presentation about your favorite dish. You will bring a portion of it
to the class and make a presentation between 10-12 minutes. Take into account the following:

1. Greeting (Example. hello/hi/good morning/good afternoon everybody/classmates)


2. Objective (Example. In this opportunity, we are going to talk about our favorite dish)
3. Name of the dish (Example. It´s /Our favorite dish is known/called as Guinea Pig with
Potatoes)
4. Place where it comes from (Example. It is a Peruvian dish)
5. Ingredients (for four servings) (Example. The ingredients needed to prepare
the dish are the following, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 pound of rice, etc.)
6. Kitchen utensils (Example. The kitchen utensils that are used to prepare it are the
following, a fried pan, a pot, etc.)
7. Procedure/Preparation
Explain the procedure how it is prepared. Use first, then, after, after that, next, finally.
Example.
First, Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan over high heat. Add the steak, season with salt and
pepper, and cook until browned, 5-6 minutes.
Next heat the remaining tablespoon of oil in the same pan, then add the red onion and cook for
about 5 minutes. Add the tomato, garlic, and aji amarillo paste, and cook for another 5-7 minutes,
until the tomatoes have released some of their juices, but are still intact.
After add the steak, fries, and cilantro. Toss gently to coat the fries in the sauce.

9. Taste
Say how it tastes (It is delicious, tasteful, spicy, sweet, etc. Many restaurants from Chota serve
that dish. People love it)

that at least twice a week)
11. Is it healthy or unhealthy? Why?
(Example. It is healthy because the ingredients contain vitamins and they protect our bodies for
diseases)
