Profile of the Faculty
Dr. John Hayrold Coronel Malonzo is a licensed
teacher, a published author, a researcher, and an
associate professorial lecturer at the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines College of Arts and Letters
Department of English Foreign Languages and
Linguistics; and Master of Arts in English Language
Teaching Program, College of Education Graduate
School. He teaches languages, research, and various
subjects in linguistics, literature, and education.
Profile of the Faculty
He finished Bachelor of Secondary Education
Communication Arts in English at the Pamantasan ng
Lungsod ng Maynila; and Master of Arts in English
Language Teaching at the Polytechnic University of the
Philippines. Last 2019, he delivered his valedictory
address as the representative of the graduating batch for
the degree Doctor of Philosophy major in English
Language and Literature at the Batangas State University.
Now, Dr. Malonzo is the chairperson of the Doctor of
Philosophy in English Language Studies and Master of
Arts in English Language Studies Program under the PUP
Graduate School.

ATTENDANCE
1. Attendance shall follow the MO. No. 5 2022 or the
Amendment to Easing of Academic Requirement and
Grading System.
2. Checking of attendance will be conducted every after the
session.

1. A student will be assigned to a topic.
2. The paper should be original. Scores from Turnitin Similarity Index
(Percentage of Plagiarism) will be part of the computation.
3. Content should be substantially relevant and grammatically
acceptable.
4. The format will be provided. Format is graded.

General Format
a. Use 1 inch margin (all sides).
b. Use 12 Arial Font.
c. Use double spacing.
d. All paragraphs are indented.
e. All titles and subtitles are bold face.
f. Capitalize all titles and initial capitalize all subtitles.
g. Use 11 by 8.5-inch paper size.
h. Use APA7 Style of in-text citations, parenthetical documentations and
bibliographical entries.
i. Use hanging indention for reference.
Requirements

The requirements shall be submitted on the specified date compiled in a


google drive.
The files shall be in properly labeled folders: Reflection Paper, Letter of
Application, Resume, Letter of Claim, and Letter of Adjustment.

Each uploaded file should be labeled using the name of the student
(Last, First, and Middle).
