Introducing support for the AGA-9 (ultrasonic meter) and the AGA-8 (2017) density calculations

Realflo 7.02 Flow Computer

• AGA-8 (2017) – expanded AGA-8 density calculation support for AGA-8 (2017) part 1 and part
2; Realflo 7.02 now supports the following AGA-8 calculations:
• AGA-8 Detail (2017)
• AGA-8 GERG (2017)
• AGA-8 Detail (1994)

• AGA-9 – gas flow calculation for ultrasonic meters

Updated Density Calculation

• AGA-8 (2017) part 2 increases the range of density

calculations to include a significantly greater range of flowing
conditions and fluid compositions
• Enhanced predication of fluid state provided by AGA-8 (2017)
part 2 can be used to increase the accuracy of flow
measurement
• AGA-8 (2017) part 2 is available with the AGA-8 Detail (2017)
and AGA-8 GERG (2017) density calculations
• AGA-8 (2017) part 1 is available with the AGA-8 Detail (1994)
density calculation
• Available for SCADAPack x70 and 3XX Smart RTUs

Ultrasonic Meter Support

• AGA-9 provides gas flow calculations for ultrasonic meters

• Ultrasonic flow meters measure the velocity of the fluid flowing
through a pipe
• The benefits of ultrasonic meters include:
‒ the ability to measure flow in pipes with diameters greater than 6
inches,
‒ measurement that is not affected by changes in fluid composition
‒ measurement that is not affected by flow anomalies

• Available for SCADAPack x70 and 3XX Smart RTUs
