AI & ITS

IMPACTS ON US

Introduction to AI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) involves using
computers to do things that traditionally
require human intelligence. This means
creating algorithms to classify, analyze, and
draw predictions from data. It also
involves acting on data, learning from new
data, and improving over time. Just like a tiny
human child growing up into a (sometimes)
smarter human adult. And like humans, AI is
not perfect ,Yet .

UNDERSTANDING AI

• Artificial Intelligence or AI is a complex technology that can be difficult to

understand for those unfamiliar with it. An easy way to think about AI is to imagine
it as a robot that can learn and improve on its own without being explicitly
programmed to do so. Just like how a child learns from experience and adapts to new
situations, an AI system can learn from data and adjust its behavior accordingly.
• Another analogy to consider is that of a personal assistant. Just as a personal
assistant can anticipate your needs based on your habits and preferences, an AI
system can analyze data and make predictions about what you might need or want in
the future. This ability to predict and adapt to changing circumstances is what makes
AI such a powerful tool for businesses and individuals alike.

DIFFERENT COMPONENTS AND
TECHNOLOGY INVOLVED IN AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) is made up of various components and technologies that
work together to enable machines to perform tasks that typically require human
intelligence. These components include:
• Machine learning involves using algorithms to learn from data and improve
performance over time.
• Natural language processing allows machines to understand and interpret human
language.
• Computer Vision enables machines to analyze and interpret visual information.
• Robotics involves creating machines that can move and interact with the physical
world. 4

AI IN ACTION
• As AI continues to grow and develop, we find ourselves interacting with it
more and more in our daily lives. From virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa
to algorithms that personalize our social media feeds, AI has become an
integral part of our world. It's easy to take for granted just how much we rely
on this technology, but its impact is undeniable.
• One area where AI is particularly prevalent is on the OTT platforms like
Netflix What you see on Netflix is tailored to you and people with similar
preferences to you.

“CREATIVITY IS JUST CONNECTING THINGS”
• The first to coin the word "creativity“ was the 17th-century Polish poet Maciej
Sarbiewski.

• For over a century and a half, the idea of human creativity met with resistance,
because the term "creation" was reserved for creation "from nothing“.
• The above quote on the heading was given by Steve Jobs, the founder of apple
known for his innovation and creativity while designing products as he combined his
knowledge of ART and passion for technology which gave us some of the most
elegant computers(Macintosh for apple fan boys) and state of the art OS, OSX

NAME OR LOGO
• But is it really true that creativity is a human concept which cant be replicated …?
Sadly its not,
“Creativity is just the ability to take an idea and place it in foreign surrounding and
achieve something meaningful out of it ”
• Which in layman's language means that we just take random ideas and concepts and try
and combine them to get something of value out of these, which means these are just
Permutation & Combinations of various variable and terms which can be done by
computers at a much faster rate than any human.
• Lets take some examples so we can understand this further.

SOLVING PROTEIN STRUCTURES
• Proteins are the building blocks of life, responsible for most of
what happens inside cells. How a protein works and what it
does is determined by its 3D shape — ‘structure is function’ is
an axiom of molecular biology. Proteins tend to adopt their
shape without help, guided only by the laws of physics.
• For decades, laboratory experiments have been the main way to
get good protein structures. The first complete structures of
proteins were determined, starting in the 1950s, using a
technique in which X-ray beams are fired at crystallized
proteins and the diffracted light translated into a protein’s
atomic coordinates. X-ray crystallography has produced the
lion’s share of protein structures. But, over the past decade,
cryo-EM has become the favoured tool of many structural-
biology labs. 8

NAME OR LOGO
• An artificial intelligence (AI) network developed by Google AI
offshoot DeepMind has made a gargantuan leap in solving one
of biology’s grandest challenges — determining a protein’s 3D
shape from its amino-acid sequence.
• DeepMind’s program, called AlphaFold, outperformed around
100 other teams in a biennial protein-structure prediction
challenge called CASP, short for Critical Assessment of
Structure Prediction. It solved this problem with a 91%
accuracy which is wonderful as its near the Cryo-test, now we
all can wonder what new protein structure can this model make.
• As it might cure cancer by synthesizing the perfect medicine
etc.

NEURAL NETWORKS AND DEEP LEARNING IN ACTION: FACIAL RECOGNITION IN CHINA

China is doing a lot with facial recognition.

Which makes sense, because there are
cameras everywhere in China. Many cameras
mean plenty of data for deep neural networks
to use. In the interest of time, here is an
example,

AT UNIVERSITY…

A university in Eastern China has implemented an AI-

powered attendance system, with cameras that constantly
observe students in class .Naturally, it scans faces to check
that the student actually turns up to class. More importantly,
it also analyzes facial expressions in real time, and can judge
whether students are paying attention. It can apparently
recognize people are sleeping or playing on their phones. I’ll
bet you’re thinking ‘I’m glad they didn’t have this tech at my
university…’

Nvidia's Symphony
• Nvidia a company know for its Graphic Cards and compute units, is also a giant
in Ai tech and the software and models.
• It’s hardware and API’s are used in almost all kinds of AI-Workflows like Tensor
flow , DeepMind, ChatGPT, OpenAi etc. But one of there most astonishing
achievement was when they were able to compose and complete the,
Beethoven’s Unfinished Symphony
• For those of you who don’t know who Beethoven is, he was one of the greatest
classical composer and yes he made music without autotune. So it was a honour
to compose I guess.

AI Lawyer
DonotPay, worlds first Robert lawyer which is capable of fighting case on your behalf with exponentialy less
cost.
Now you might ask why should I choose a robot instead of a real lawyer well the answer is as follows:-
 It can go through enormous amount of database (from previous cases and court document's –database is
created )and prepare a solid case which even a team lawyers couldn’t even do in months, as humans are
limited by how much they can read an remember previous experiences
 It would also me much more trustable since all humans have a price and just the right amount can make
them backstab you, but what can a mortal being offer to AI , “Few more HardDrive’s.. ?”
This clearly shows how it would the jobs of our lawyer friend’s and by the way they have the following
services, if anyone needs they can check these out in future:-
File for Bankruptcy
File Police Report
File SEC Complaints
Financial Aid Appeal Letters
Find Discounts
Find Lost Airport Items or even Divorce Settlement Agreement

Ai Soldier
• Ai soldiers, well I am not talking about our
WMD Terminator but rather something boring
and benign.
• Which are swarm drones which can be
programed to kill targets from there face or heat
signatures, or even be programed to kill people
of certain ethnicity or clothing i.e doing Ethnic
Cleansing job , probably Chinese would invest
in this idea of mine.
• Now the question is do we realy have
something equivalent..?
14

NAME OR LOGO
• Well we do have something which are friends at
Pentagon have made and its called SwitchBlade
drone. So it basically makes the entire foot soldier
irrelevant because one can just bombard thousand of
these at any military post to smoke the enemy
positions.
• Now lets talk about USS Gerald R Ford, the pride of
the US strike carrier group is shit scared of these as
Chinese have there own DF series drones which US
admirals dread of. Just as a context a single aircraft
carrier costs around $10 Billion, while 120 Missile
Battery wont even cost $1 Billion. I guess its a
bargain deal. 15
