What Is ERGONOMICS?

A multidisciplinary science that seeks to conform the workplace and all of its physiological aspects to the worker.
Ergonomics provides the guiding principles and specifications according to which tools, machines, work procedures and
workplaces are designed for safe use. The efficiency of a machine depends on the ability of the workers are able to
operate in poorly designed workplaces does not mean that this is the most efficient method of production workers
should be able to operate machines in the least stressful way.

S (OSHA) required the protection of the employer from the workplace

fatalities and injuries, more measure should be enacted to ensure safe working environment. The known risks, industry
recognition, and feasible abtement are aspects evaluated in provided cases above. OSHA criteria of prompting workplaces
inspections are goverened by different factors if the case such as a death of the employer or serious injury as examined
above. Administrative control, PPE, and engineering controls are some of feasible solution in addressing workplace
violence.
