• History:
Hugh Blackburn (mathematician) give idea of pendulum in
1840s.
• Pendulum:
A pendulum is a body suspended from a fixed point so that it
can swing back and forth under the influence of gravity.
• Paint pendulum:
The technique used called pendulum painting , involves using a
swinging object to deposit point in singing elaborate design.
The object swing back and forth under the combine influence of
gravity and the spring.
• Types of pendulum:
Simple pendulum
Conical pendulum
Torsional pendulum
Mass string pendulum.

• Viscous liquid
• Plastic bottle

 Principle

Once the pendulum is released, the force of its inertia will cause it
to flow back and forth across the canvas creating a natural spiral.
As the paint is released and the weight of the pendulum changes, the
spirals will become smaller and smaller.

By pendulum painting we can make different and attraction shapes.
