Under Chassis Component

The undercarriage of a vehicle has three major components: the clutch, which transfers power from the engine to the drive shaft; steering, which directs the movement of wheels left or right; and suspension, which absorbs shock when driving on uneven terrain. A manual steering system requires the driver to provide all steering force, while power steering prevents wheel resistance from reaching the steering wheel, allowing for faster steering due to reduced resistance.

WHAT IS UNDER CHASSIS COMPONENT
SYSTEM:
The undercarriage of a vehicle is made up of
three major components: the clutch, steering,
and suspension. To transfer power from the
engine to the wheels, the clutch connects the
engine to the drive shaft. Steering directs the
movement of the wheels to the left or right.
Finally, the suspension absorbs shock when
driving on uneven terrain.
MECHANICAL STEERING:
A manual steering system
requires the driver to provide all of the steering force. Power steering
prevents wheel resistance from reaching the steering wheel, allowing for
faster steering. Because of the difference in wheel movement resistance,
manual steering is slower than power steering
