FLOORING
Floors are horizontal elements of building structures which support
live loads such as people, furnishings and movable equipment and
dead loads.

It divide building into different levels for the purpose of creating more
accommodation with in the restricted space.
TYPES OF FLOORING
• Vinyl Flooring: Vinyl flooring is a resilient and versatile option. It comes in sheets, tiles, or planks. It's
water-resistant and suitable for high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens.

• Ceramic Tile Flooring: Ceramic tiles are made from natural clay and minerals. They are durable, water-
resistant, and available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and sizes. They are commonly used in
bathrooms, kitchens, and entryways.

• Porcelain Tile Flooring: Similar to ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles are also made from clay but are denser
and more durable. They are an excellent choice for high-traffic areas and outdoor use.

• Natural Stone Flooring: Options like marble, granite, limestone, and slate fall under this category.
Natural stone flooring is elegant and unique, but it requires regular maintenance and can be more
expensive.

• Carpet Flooring: Carpet is a soft and comfortable flooring option, available in various styles, colors, and
textures. It's ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and areas where you want a cozy feel.

• Bamboo Flooring: Bamboo flooring is a renewable resource that provides a similar appearance to
hardwood flooring. It's durable, easy to maintain, and an eco-friendly choice.

• Concrete Flooring: Concrete flooring offers a contemporary and industrial look. It can be polished,
stained, or textured to create various designs and patterns.

• Rubber Flooring: Often used in commercial settings, rubber flooring is impact-resistant, slip-resistant, and
easy to clean. It's suitable for gyms, playrooms, and high-traffic areas.
