POLYGON
closed plane figure that is
determined by its non-collinear
segments (sides) that meets on a
common endpoint (vertex).
It is also consist of no curved sides.
POLYGONS

Polygons comes from the two Greek words


“poly” and “gon” means “many” and “angle”
Therefore, polygons are closed plane figures
that have many angles.
NON-POLYGON

Non-Polygons are do not have the properties or do


not satisfy the criteria of polygons. For instance,
these are the figures that cannot be considered as
polygons.
