The academic session 2022-23 is divided into

First term: August to December
• Bimonthly in September
• Term exam in November
Second term: January to May
• 2nd bimonthly in Feb
• Term exams in May

Attendance
1. All students must be regular.
2. Attendance for a shorter duration is not acceptable. The planned late coming or early
departure for medical reasons should be notified to the class teacher via letter/email by the
parents, along with a medical certificate at least a day in advance. Students must have 90%
class attendance to be eligible for sitting in the final examinations.
3. In case of absence, an application by parent/guardian should be submitted a day prior to the
school day, or in an emergency, on the first day when the child re-joins the school. Verbal
notices and what's app messages/applications will not be accepted.
4. In case of continuous absence (for 10 days) or frequent absences during the academic year
(for 20 days) without leave application, the student shall be issued a ten days’ notice for
providing the reason for not attending school, and parents will be required to provide a
written undertaking for the same. Failing to produce valid justifications and a written
undertaking, or continuing to miss school after the undertaking, shall result in the student’s
expulsion from the school.
 School discipline policy is part of handbook. Few points are mentioned here: 

1. Bullying is unwanted and aggressive behaviour that may lead to suspension,

detention and expulsion from the school.

2. Smoking cigarettes, use of vapes and filters, chewing pan, betel nut, supari or
gutka, or using drugs is strictly prohibited with zero tolerance, any such action

shall be proceeded with disciplinary action of expulsion from school.

3. Actions, endanger or threaten the health, safety, or well-being of any person

Discipline inside the school premises has zero tolerance

and Code of 4. Bringing mobile phones/electronic gadget or any other unwanted item to
school will result in confiscation of the gadget/item. This will be returned to
Conduct parents only in PTM.

5. Gossiping, spreading stories, and / or sharing any material on any forum,

including social media, with the intent to insult or embarrass any member of
the school community. School will take action as per policy

6. Use of vulgar, slang or inappropriate language include in major offences.

7. Physical fight has zero tolerance.
