Hadith 1
a) Important teaching
 It tells about sincerity towards the three articles and people of community.
 1stly towards Allah , means following His commands
 2ndly towards the Prophet, means his obedience
 Ref: obey Allah and obey the Messenger (64 : 11)
 3rdly towards the leaders which means obey the rules set for good governance and
 4thly toward the fellow beings, helping and taking care of those around you

 Holy prophet conveyed Allah’s message
 His companions followed him
 When Hz. Abu Bakr took the office he said, follow me if I am right, and correct me if I am
wrong.
Hadith: 2
a) Important teachings
 Teaching of Islam for a believer
 Importance of brotherhood and fraternity
 Islamic teachings of love and sharing can only be developed when one is loyal
 Ref: Muslims are a single brotherhood (Al Hujrat: 10)
 One must think about others and give preference to others basic needs upon personal
luxuries

 Love and care imparted by the Prophet
 Example of Muhajareen and Ansar
 We should follow it like did in 2005 and 07
Hadith: 3
a) Important teachings
 Describes some of the qualities of a believer
 Use of two of the gifts of Allah
 Rights of guests and neighbours
 Must take good care of guests and share the food with neighbours.
 Ref Al Maun:5-7 says Allah cursed the people who do not share daily things and Al Baqara:
83 says speak kindly to mankind
 Rewards for these simple acts are matchless

 Holy prophet never indulged in vane talk
 Told us to take good care of guests and share the food with neighbours.
 Holy prophet presented all the milk to his guest
We should take care of our neighbours, visit them specially when they need our help.

Hadith: 4
a) Important teachings
 Describes some deeds which may lead to paradise
 Performance of pillars
 Ref: One who gives up prayer has no believe
 Write briefly about fasting
 Awareness of lawful and unlawful
b) Action required
Example from the life of the Prophet /caliphs/or daily lives
 One should be regular and punctual in prayers and Fasting
 One should be well aware what is permissible and what is forbidden
 Holy prophet was loyal to religion and honest in all spheres of life

Hadith: 5
a) Important teachings
 Explains about charity
 One needs to perform some acts on daily basis which are for Allah using all available
sources
 2: 83 speak kindly to mankind
 An easy way to earn Allah’s pleasure and blessings
b) Action required
Example from the life of the Prophet /caliphs/or daily lives
 Muslims should a habit of performing deeds which are Sadaqas
 Specially in affairs of justice
 Example of the Prophet when a rich women brought in his court in case of theft
 Should meet our brothers with smile on the face and respect in hearts

Hadith: 6
a) Important teachings
 Describes the ways to encounter the evil
 Guidelines to establish justice
 Main concept of Islam is to stop evil by using the ability one have
 Ref: Al Anaam: 100 ….enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong
 At least dislike what is evil and wrong ,else deprived of faith
b) Action required

 Muslims as an obligation should favour the truth and protest against the wrong
 Life of Holy prophet is the best example
 He utilized all resources to condemn the wrong first through preaching then using power
 We should stand against evil and help the victims availing the potential one have

Hadith: 7
a) Important teachings
 Describes who is the excellent amongst believers
 Striving hard / take part in Jihad for Allah’s cause
 Muslim believe to sacrifice all for the cause of Islam
 Need to learn that to present whatever one have for Allah will bring blessings which are
beyond explanation
 Ref An Nisa: 74 who give their lives for Allah their reward is with Allah
b) Action required

 One should be ready to fight in the way of Allah
 An important duty is to protect religion and state
 Holy prophet fought battles to protect Madina
 Companions participated in wars and then helped through their positions

Hadith: 8
a) Important teachings
 This hadith is to enlighten the concept in believers that how can they attain the status of a
martyr even if they end up with a natural death
 Many ways are mentioned whish lead to death are stated
 The teaching focused is one must live a righteous life
 Ref : the greatest jihad is to fight against the evil passion of one self
b) Action required
Example from the life of the Prophet /caliphs/or daily lives
 Muslims should live a righteous life
 Should pray to end up with true belief and striving for Allah
 If suffering from any disease have faith in Allah ,pray for health and if death approaches it
would be rewarded as martyrdom
 Example of Hz. Umar(RZ) who went to Jerusalem although it was effected by the epidemic
of pelage

Hadith: 9
a) Important teachings
 Earning livelihood honestly is the first practical principle to be acted upon after 5 pillars of
Islam
 Muslim’s belief is to earn livelihood through lawful means i.e work & labor where as they
need to abhor to earn livelihood from unlawful means like gambling, theft, interest etc.
 Allah blesses those who earn livelihood through lawful means.
 Ref: “The sins of a person who returns home exhausted in search of lawful earning are
forgiven by Allah.” (Agreed)
 Therefore Muslims are required to earn their livelihood earnestly.
b) Action required
Example from the life of the Prophet /caliphs/or daily lives
 Muslims should work for their livelihood and live an independent life
 Shouldn’t be ashamed of earning livelihood through labor or hard work.
 Should never indulge in unlawful means of earning.
 Should not beg or being dependent on others.
 Example: Companions query to Holy Prophet (SAW) about a better person in two: One
who is dependent on others but pious other who performs obligations and fulfill his
responsibilities of earning either.
Hadith: 10
a) Important teachings
 Muslims believe that helping poor & needy people is as worthy as walking in the
way of Allah or worshipping Him
 Islam teaches us to be kind and generous towards fellow beings.
 Ref: “…Treat with kindness your parents & kindred & orphans &those in need” (2:83)
 Those who manage affairs of others, Allah Himself manages theirs
b) Action required

 Muslims should help and support those who lack in worldly means.
 Should support poor and needy economically, socially and morally.
 Muslims leaders should also take care of the poor of the community.
 Example: Hazrat Omar (RA) the second Caliph of Islam when found out about a widow
and her children weeping due to hunger and the unavailability of food, He himself
brought food for them, cooked and asked the widow to fed her children.
 Should treat them kindly
 Shouldn’t be pretentious in helping out needy & helpless.

 Islam puts so much emphasis on the rights of orphans & treatment with them
 Muslims are asked to treat them kindly.
 Ref: “The best Muslim house is that in which an orphan is weel treated and the worst
Muslim house is the in which an orphan is illtreated” (Ibne Majah)
 Muslim believe that treating orphans kindly & bringing them up fairly would benefit them
with the nearness of Holy Prophet (SAW) in paradise.
 Those nearest to Holy Prophet (SAW) would be rewarded with same inconceivable
bounties which Holy Prophet (SAW) would have.

 Muslims should help the orphans as much as they can
 Muslims should be generous towards them by being fair and kind
 Muslims should also highly support & love those who lack supervision and care.
 Example: The holy Prophet (SAW) took care of Hazrat Zaid bin Harith in a way when Hzarat
Zaid’s father came to take him, he refused to go back and decided to stay with the H0ly
Prophet (SAW)
 If orphans have property Muslims should take care of I honestly until their youth.
Hadith: 12
a) Important teachings
 Iman’s Hear tends with ease & kind-heartedness so Muslims are taught to be kind to
others rather than being harsh.
 Muslims believe to produce ease for people and being gentle to them.
 Ref: “Make things easy and do not make them hard & cheer up people and do not repel
them.” (Agreed)
 Muslims’ kind treatment makes others listen and follow them whereas repelling causes ill
in others’ hearts about Islam.
b) Action required

 Muslims should be kind & gentle when they preach.
 Example: Hazrat Nuh (A.S) responded to the obstinate disbeliever’s arguments gently and
politely called them to worship Allah.
 Only kindness touches the heart & makes one to accept the suggestion.
 This is why Allah asked Hazrat Musa & Haroon (A.S) to be kind to Pharaoh in speech.
 Muslims should also be tolerant.
 Example: When a Bedouin urinated in the mosque & the companions rushed to beat him,
Holy Prophet (SAW) ordered them to leave him & pour a bucket of water over the place
where he urinated.
 Muslims shouldn’t introduce Islam as a sophisticated and complex religion to follow.
 Muslims should never try to thrust their opinion on others.
Hadith: 13
a) Important teachings
 Quran is the only book in the work that can be committed to memory
 Continuous virtues of learning the Quran by heart are mentioned in Hadith.
 Ref: “The noblest of my community are those who carry the Quran (in their memories)” (Al
Behaqi)
 Muslims believe as its virtuous to learn it, remembering it is also absolutely necessary.
 It gradually slips out of mind if it isn’t revised the same is animals run away if it isn’t kept.
b) Action required

 Muslims should make the habit of regularly recitation of the Quran.
 Huffaz should also listen to it during Ramadan in Tarawih & also recite it.
 If the hafaz e Quran doesn’t revise, it slips out of their mind.
 The more you revise, the stronger it is kept in memory so Muslims should never stop
revising whatever part they have learned of Quran.
Hadith: 14
a) Important teachings
 Islam teaches business conduct not with honesty & Justice alone but also with kindness
 Muslims' belief is to be kind during business dealings as well so as to receive Allah’s mercy.
 Kindness in selling means not storing commodities for earning higher prices; not hiding
defects of the commodities.
 Ref: “Whoever sells anything with a defect in it which he doesn’t make known will remain
hated of God.” (Ibne Majahh)
 Kindness in buying means not buying items until they reach the market, to avoid
bargaining against his brother’s bargain.
 Kindness in demanding the money back s to be considerate & forgiving when the debtor is
in straitened circumstances.
b) Action required

 Muslims are required to be kind in business connections.
 Prophet was know as Sadiq and Ameen from his youth
 Businesses shouldn’t be run on a monopoly basis.
 Muslim seller should take back their sold items if the buyer isn’t satisfied or wants to
return them in any case.
 Muslim buyers should wait for their turn and shouldn’t irritate the salesperson.
 Muslim should never give & take loans on interest.
Hadith: 15
a) Important teachings
 Muslims believe that being forgiven and merciful to others rewards them with Mercy of
Allah
 Merciful means to love His creatures; being affectionate to younger ones & honor the
elder ones.
 Mingling in people and being compassionate to them is better than being reserved and
impatient.
 Ref: “The Muslim who mixes with the people & hears them patiently is better than he who
doesn’t mix with them and not bears with them patiently.” (Ibne Majah)
 Compassionate is one who does good to the people even if he doesn’t get treated well and
maintains the ties of the relationship.
b) Action required

 Muslims should be compassionate & merciful to the creatures of Allah
 Muslims should be forgiven towards men.
 Muslims should also be kind towards other creatures than humans. It also causes God’s
Wrath or Mercy
 Example: Two women who are rewarded with Heaven & Hell due to their attitude towards
God’s creatures. The one who gave water to the thirsty dog goes to Heaven & the other
who was harsh to the cat goes to Hell Fire.
 Muslims shouldn’t expect any compensation from men in turn of their favors to them.
