    It is 34 miles long and ½ mile wide.
    Has about 5,000 inhabitants and about one million
    visitors annually
    Was initially named "Isla Blanca" or "White Sand" when
    it first charted in 1519 by Spanish explorer.
    It has a sub-tropical climate.
    Winter temperature its around 65 degrees and summer
    82 degrees.
