Overview

MPSIV includes power modules:


- Existing in use
• SPS01: Splus Power Module 01, output +24VDC@10A
• SPS02: Splus Power Module 02, output +48VDC@5A

- Newly developed
• SPS03-5V: Splus Power Module 03 - 5V, output +5VDC@60A
• SPS03-15V: Splus Power Module 03 - 15V, output +/-15VDC@3A

The Modular Power System IV of DIN rail mounted products is the latest addition
to Modular Power System III of rack mounted, is compatible with Harmony Rack
systems, INFI 90® OPEN and Symphony Plus systems.

Main Product Objectives

- Operate with 2N power redundancy.


- Direct replacement for MPSI, MPSII, and MPSIII systems, used in
Harmony Rack, INFI 90® OPEN, Symphony Plus systems, in their
entireties
- Realize true +5V output redundancy even if one power module is
malfunctioned.
- Reduce overall power system cost.
- Able to replace one specific power module separately instead of
renew the whole power system

For install base with MPSIII, need to remove


PEP, chassis/bracket and power tray while
keeping FAN3000 and DC Bus Bar. For
800mm width cabinet, spare space is 695mm
width * 273mm height. For 600mm width
cabinet, spare space is 495mm width *
273mm height.

Install metal sheet (BP-K01-P2) in the front


rack to install base plate and power modules
(BP01 & SPS01 & SPS02), +24 VDC output
connects to DC Bus Bar in the rear side.

(BP03 & SPS03-5V & SPS03-15V), +5V /
