World Sleep Day was created to emphasize the importance of sleep and address common
sleep-related issues that many people suffer from. This day is celebrated every year on
varying dates in March, and this year
World Sleep Day

contained by the World Sleep Day
Committee of the World Sleep Society,
formerly the World Association of Sleep
Medicine, since 2008.

Eye Movement (Non-REM) Sleep. Non-

sleep.

at a comfortable temperature.
Remove electronic devices and computers, such as
TVs, and from the bedroom and smartphones.
Avoid large meals, and alcohol before bedtime,
caffeine.
