RAINBOW
St. Patrick viewed the rainbow as a
representation of God's promise to never
again destroy the earth with a flood. So,
the Irish myths and legends of rainbows
and pots of gold merged with Christian
beliefs to where we are today!
Symbols of St. Patrick’s Day
Leprechauns – Leprechauns are
little men that dress like
shoemakers. The Leprechauns are
paid with gold coins. The gold
coins are then added to a large
pot. If you catch a Leprechaun
they must show you where they
hid the pot of gold.
