INTRODUCTIONS
The Importance of Bees in Nature

● As part of ecosystems

The production of seeds, nuts, berries, and fruits are

highly dependent on bees as the major pollinators.

In farmed areas, bees are needed for cultivated crops

and maintaining biodiversity of non-cultivated
areas.

Bees are Good for Trees and Trees are Good for Bees

Wild honeybees chose nesting places in trees rather than in an open

landscape. Most often the honeybees prefer to build their combs or nests
high in trees instead of close to the ground, but bees nests can be found
everywhere in a tree. In savannah areas with bushfires in the dry season, a
high nesting place is an advantage. When enough bees are present in a
forest, they provide a better pollination that leads to improved regeneration
of trees and conservation of the forest’s biodiversity.

JUSTIFICATION
Why we need to set this up:

‘Save the Bees’ campaign main purpose is to protect the endangered

pollinators (bees). Scientists said that bees are dying from a variety of
factors such as pesticides, drought, habitat destruction, nutrition
deficit, air pollution, global warming and many more. To be more
exact, the number of bee colonies per hectare has declined by 90%
since 1962.

Moreover, biologists have found more than 150 different chemical
