According to Spolsky (2004), language


policy refers to all “language practices ,
beliefs, and management decisions of a To gain comprehensive understanding of
community or polity”. It “constituttes an language policy, you will now lern about

practices or belief” (p.4)

because you believe that is the most appropriate language to use in your present
environment.
