THE OFFICE OF

STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is the primary frontline office of an institution with the
students. The OSA oversees the implementation of policies that support the academic
pursuits and total development of students. Likewise, it takes care of the different aspects of
a healthy and productive student life outside of the home of every student.

Presentation of SAS Programs
 Student Affairs, when done well, affects the experience of every student on campus.
Programs like student counselling services, tutoring, and new student orientation all make
a critical difference to student success, and indeed the college experience as a whole.
These important programs will be funded by student fees and are limited by what can be
accomplished within a very finite budget.

 “And we speak of quality, although it may be cliché, but it is infallible truth that quality
education is very expensive. There is a direct relationship between financial capability and
quality of education,”
