 Young people are usually taught about protecting the
environment at school – but is school really the best place
to learn about it? I believe so // I don’t think so.
Firstly, There is no doubt that we need to learn about protecting
the environment. In fact, many people think it is an essential
topic to learn at school. We have teachers who may be experts
in areas such as climate change or wildlife conservation so they
are the perfect people to teach us about the environment.

Secondly, learning about the environment can also be fun. You

can share ideas with other people and go out with teachers and
mates to see for yourself what you learn at school.
Finally, many schools have up-to-date technology to help us,
and there are hands-on experiments we can do such as
monitoring weather changes or plastic waste.
In conclusion, I would say the best place to learn about the
environment is the school as it is enjoyable and you have the
chance to learn a lot there.
