I. TOPIC 1
1. Do you work or are you a student
I am a student. My major is marketing
2. Why did you choose that job/ course
I choose this course because I consider myself as a creative person. I also love watching
advertisement on the televison when I was young and I wish I could make a successful campain
like this.
3. What is the most difficult thing about your studies or job
I am quite introvert so I sometimes I will need time to recharge my social energy and being able
to adapt with the environment.
II. TOPIC 2
1. Do you think science sujects are more useful than art subjects
I think both science and art subjects are useful. Science subject helps me learn about the world
while art subject nurture my creativity, which is so useful for my mental health and my major.
2. Are students mature enough to choose what to study for themselves, or should their parents.
For me, I am the one who understand myself best, so I will know exactly what major I want to
take. However, parents’ advices are also something that I will need in order to get more references
when it come to choosing my major.

3. In your county, does university education help you get into a better career
Having university education means students are qualified by a education system, so of course it
will give us more advantages in labor market. However, for me, the most important things for a
successful caree path is our skill and behaviour.
4. Do you think older or younger workers are more likely motivated?
I think older workers are more likely to be motivated because they must take financial
responsibility not only for themselves but also for their family.
5. How can managers increase motivation among their workforce.
The manager need to set a clear goal for their worker, set up a compete between the employees,
give them compliment and award for their great job and also point out where to improvement.
6. Are people more motivated if the job involves helping others.
As human being, we have humanity inside each of us, so whenever we help others, we will feel
the joy of it. It also the motivation for us if we can help other people through the job that we are
dong.
III. TOPIC 3
1. Tell me aboat your country’s climate
Vietnam has a typical tropical monsoon climate with two seasons: the dry and rainy
seasons. However, due to climate change, I feel it is hot all the time.

2. What’s your favorite kind of weather


I love winter because I don’t like being sweat and in winter, I can layer my outfits and take nice
pictures.
3. Does the weather influence you mood.
Absoluly yes. Whenever it is too hot, I feel myself in higher temper than usual. When it rains, I
feel myself a little sad. When I experience the winter in the North of Vietnam, I feel very
enjoyable when walking on the street with the trendcoat on me.
4. Is it worse to feel too hot or too cold

Both too hot or too cold are not good for our health. When it is too hot, you are easyly to be drain.
When it is too cold, your skin will be so dry.
IV. TOPIC 4
1. Are people in your country concerned about protecting the environment
Recently, more and more projects are set up in the purpose of raising people’s awareness of the
importance of the environment in our country. In the social media, there are many programs about
wildlife, nature, science, which can help us learn more about our environment.
2. Does the responsibility of protecting the environment lie with government or individuals.
We, as the individuals, must take responsibility of protecting the environment. It is the air we
breath, the water we drink, the food we eat… and so on. It is what helps us survive so each of us
must protect it.
3. Does it help to educate young people on being green.
Educating is the best way to raise people’s awareness of how important the environment is, not
only for young people but for all of us. By going green, we reduce the plastic that we send to the
environment, we plants more trees to help reduce the CO2…
4. What effects does pollution have on the environment
Due to pollution, the air we breath is not clear anymore. You can see fine dust everywhere in the
city. More and more rivers are polluted due to industrial waste. Industrial emissions cause
greenhouse gas emissions….
5. Do you think we pollute more now than we did 50 years ago.
Yes, the popularity is raising day by day, we need more products to serve our needs,
so the industry is growing as well, causing more pollute than before.
6. What do you think will happen if we do not reduce current levels of pollution.
If the level of pollution is continue growing, we will have less forest, less river, less fresh air. we
will also face more desease. Natural disasters also come more frequently. Our life will not be
peaceful anymore.
