Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating

durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of
an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material
such as photographic film, as well as its more direct uses for
art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass
communication.

when you deliberately disrupt the
pattern or use a single element
from the pattern to create a
contrast within your
composition. These are generally
regular patterns but with one
element out of place that attracts
the eye.

SPACE
• Either negative or positive space can
be used to make a statement.
• can be positive if it’s occupied by a
line or a shape. Positive space feels
heavy.
• Or it can be negative if it’s
unoccupied. Negative space is light
and full of nothingness. Because of
this, lots of negative space will make
your images feel less crowded and
airier.
