1. INTRODUCTION

Carlos Alcaraz is a tennis player

who was born on May 5th of 2003,
in El Palmar, Murcia. He grew up
and lived most part of his life
there.
He lives with his parents Virginia
Garfia, his mother, and Carlos
Alcaraz, his father, who was a
tennis player as well . Also he has
a little brother too, Jaime Alcaraz,
he is 11 years old and he plays
similar as his brother.
2.CHILDHOOD

Carlos started laying tennis very young and at only 14 years old, he won
his first professional tournament, the ITF Futures. Months later, he was
named the Europe sub 16 champion.
3.CAREER

In his career as a professional tennis player, Alcaraz has won ten ATP titles.
The first one was the Umag, on 2021 against Richard Gasquet. The following
year he managed to win five tournaments: the US Open, the Mutua Madrid
Open, the Conde Godó, the Miami Open, and the Rio de Janeiro. Lastly, this
year he has alredy won the Mutua Madrid Open, the Conde Godó , the Indian
Wells and Buenos Aires.
Alcaraz was named “Best player” this week after winning the Mutua Madrid
Open.
4.WHERE IS HE TRAINING?

Now Alcararaz trains at the JC Ferrero Equalite Sport Academy in

Villena. His trainer is Juan Carlos Ferrero, he was a tennis player
when he was young.
5.HOBBIES

Alcaraz loves playing golf, going

fishing and soccer during his free time.
“I am a Real Madrid fan and I don’t
miss any matches, even when I’m
travelling” he said for a magazine
interview.
Carlos also enjoys chess, in fact he
though about playing it professionally.
6.CONCLUSIONS

Carlos Alcaraz is one of my favourite tennis players, because he is very

good and he sets a good example for the kids like me, who want to be like
him one day. The best match he played in my opinion, was the semi-final
for the Mutua Madrid Open, against Djokovick, Alcaraz won 6/7 7/5 7/6. It
was so exciting!
