Department Research and Development

Objective
• To evaluate the efficacy of different mixing times between Matador 25 EC and CBA stick to control Leaf roller and Helopeltis in the field

Methodology
• Period : 1 March 2023 – 20 March 2023
• Location : S054 (PC 8) in a plot scale

Design
• Number of treatments : 2
• Number of replicates : 5
• Number of trees/plot : 25
• Matador 25 EC (concent/dossage) : 2 cc/L (0.2%/170 cc/Ha)
• CBA stick (concent/dossage) : 3 cc/L (0.3%/255 cc/Ha)
• Volume of spraying/treatment : 6.4 L (rounding 20 L as per jirigen to anticipate the leaking)

List ofCodes
treatments Time
T1 (SOP) Matador 25 EC, CBA stick and water mixed in the day of spraying
T2 Matador 25 EC, CBA stick and water mixed in 1 day before spraying
Procedure
• Monitor the compartments with incidence above % GCG (need control)
• Set the plot
• Conduct the pre-spraying assessment
• Conduct the mixing between Matador 25 EC, CBA stick and water based on respective
treatments
• Apply the solution and conduct the assessment

Assessment
• Assesment will be done 5 days, 10 days and 15 days after spraying to measure % leaf
roller and helopeltis incidence x 100%
Trial plan (date)
• Set up plot trial : 2 March 2023 (done)
• Pre-spraying assessment : 2 March 2023 (done)
• Spraying : 4 March 2023 (done)

Assessment
• 5 days after spraying : 9 March 2023 (done)
• 10 days after spraying : 14 March 2023
• 15 days after spraying : 19 March 2023
Pre-spraying assessment

Explanation: There is no significant different between T1 and T2 treatments on leaf roller and helopeltis incidence.
This plot can be recognized to be similar condition
5 days after spraying assessment

-50% -42%
-46% -32%
