I- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT ATTITUDE OF A
DESPERATE PERSON
V. 12 TEN MEN WHO HAD LEPROSY MET HIM. THEY
STOOD
AT A DISTANCE
1. Attitude to accept their actual situation ( pandemic)
v. 12 ten men who had leprosy
2. Attitude to bring all to God (frontliner) v.12 met him
3. Attitude to expect great thing from God (quarantine/
social distansing)
v. 12 stood at a distance
 II- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE OF A
HUMBLE PERSON
V. 13 AND CALLED OUT IN A LOUD VOICE ; JESUS , MASTER ,
HAVE PITY ON US
1.Humility teaches us to seek God’s presence
v. 13 and called out in a loud voice
2.Humility teaches us about God’s power over our lives
v.13 Jesus , Master
3. Humility teaches us to touch God’s heart
v. 13 have pity on us
III- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT RESPONSE OF
AN OBEDIENT PERSON
V.14 WHEN HE SAW THEM, HE SAID, “GO SHOW YOURSELVES
TO PRIESTS”, AND AS THEY WENT, THEY WERE CLEANSED

1. God pay attention to them

v. 14 when he saw them, he said,
2. God’s Word is true to them
v. 14 go show yourselves to the priests
3. God will not let their need unattended
v. 14 and as they went, they were cleansed
IV – THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT CHOICE OF A
COMMITTED PERSON
V. 15 ONE OF THEM , WHEN HE SAW HE WAS HEALED, CAME BACK,
PRAISING GOD IN A LOUD VOICE
1. A committed person never ignore what Christ had
done in his life
v. 15 one of them, when he saw he was healed
2. A committed person can not live apart from God
v. 15 came back
3. A committed person praises the Lord continually
v. 15 praising God in a loud voice
V- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT PRINCIPLE OF A SUCCESSFUL
PERSON
V. 16 HE THREW HIMSELF AT JESUS FEET AND THANKED HIM-
AND HE WAS A SAMARITAN (FOREIGNER)

1.His success makes him more closer to God

v. 16 he threw himself at Jesus’ feet
2. His success makes him more grateful to God
v. 16 and thanked Him
3. His success makes him more blessed than others
v. 16 and he was a Samaritan
VI- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT CONVICTION OF A
CONTENTED PERSON
V. 17 WERE NOT ALL TEN CLEANSED? WHERE ARE THE
OTHER NINE ?

1.Conviction makes us realized what Christ had done in

our personal lives ( God’s goodness)
v. 17 were not all ten cleansed?
2. Conviction makes us realized the importance of our
personal response ( God deserves our thanksgiving)
v. 17 Where are the other nine?
VII- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT START OF A PRODUCTIVE PERSON
V. 18 WAS NO ONE FOUND TO RETURN AND GIVE PRAISE TO GOD
EXCEPT THIS FOREIGNER?

1.Return to the source of blessing

v. 18 was no one found to return ?
2.Honoring the source of blessing
v. 18 and give praise to God except this
foreigner
VIII- THANKFULNESS IS THE RIGHT REACTION OF
A BLESSED PERSON
V. 19 RISE AND GO; YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU
WELL.

1.It is an instant reaction

v. 19 rise and go
2. It is a constant reaction
v. 19 your faith has made you well
 IN A PEACEFUL
PERSON
V. 19 YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU
WELL

1. Put God first - v. 19 Your faith

2. God put you first -
v. 19 has made you well
