INTRODUCTION

My name is Tamera Davis and I’m seventeen years old. I am the fourth child for my mother but the second
child for my father. I live in a community called Daytona . I attend the Ascot high school. I am currently in
grade 10 at the moment . Currently I am pursuing Mathematics, English, Family Resource Management ,
Foods and Nutrition and Human Social Biology for my cxc and I also want to do city and guilds in
Mathematics and English. My career goal is to be a Soldier, Pediatrition, Athlete or an Flight Anttendant.

My expectation of Food, Nutrition and Health course is able to cook delicious foods, keep my
environment clean, be able to tell illness or sickness by looking and to acheive the higest grade.

• Background information

• According to the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, "Nutrition is the sum of all the processes by which
food enters and is utilized by the body. Nutrients include protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals,
and water.
• Important figures
• The effective management of food intake and nutrition are both key to good health. Smart nutrition and
food choices can help prevent disease. Eating the right foods can help your body cope more successfully
with an ongoing illness. Understanding good nutrition and paying attention to what you eat can help you
maintain or improve your health.

• CAKE
• *CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

+ 1 ¾ cup all purpose flour or flour 1) Preheat oven to 350*F (180*C) standard or 320*F (160*C)
+ ¾ cup Hershey’s cocoa powder fan/ convection.
+ 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder 2) Lightly grease 2x 9 inch (22cm) round cake pans with
