DAILY TASKS
CTD
o Used on fixed station.
o Post-process data after each station
o After the scientists have collected their samples, empty the bottles and flush the equipment entirely with fresh water and arm
the bottles.
Thermosalinograph
o Stop and Start around midnight (UTC time)
o Flush with fresh water before starting a new record
o Process data once a day
ADCP
o Stop and start at UTC midnight
o Download the recorded data
Ensure that all systems are:
o Working as they should so that we get as good survey results as possible
o Not interfering with each other (i.e. noise from the ADCP on EK80)
