MOVEMENT SENSOR: A MOTION SAFETY ALARM DETECTION

SYSYTEM

( Karl Louie B. Pabustan )

What is the purpose?

Motion sensor, or motion detector, is an electronic device that uses a

sensor to detect nearby people or objects. Motion sensors are an
important component of any security system. When a sensor detects
motion, it will send an alert to your security system, and with newer
systems, right to your mobile phone.
Sensors that being used

Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensors: These sensors detect changes in infrared radiation caused
by moving objects. They are commonly used in motion-activated lights and alarms.

Ultrasonic Sensors: These sensors emit high-frequency sound waves and measure the time
it takes for the sound waves to bounce back. Changes in this time indicate motion.
Ultrasonic sensors are used in some motion-activated switches and alarms.

Image Sensors: In more advanced systems, cameras and image sensors can be used to
detect motion by analyzing changes in the visual scene.

Arduino uno: For Bluetooth to connect in your device.
