 HW project
Aim: To find which materials are good absorbers of
radiation.
Materials: Two cans of equal size, one of which is
polished and shiny on the outside and one which is
black and dull (If you cannot find such cans you can
wrap kitchen foil on a can to make it shiny, and use
black coloured paper on the other), water.
Procedure: Pour equal amounts of water into the
cans. Place them in full sunlight, or place them equal
distances from an electric fire. Put your finger inside
each can. What do you observe?
