JESUS, THE PERFECT
LEADER
“You call me Master and Lord: and ye say
well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and
Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought
to wash one another’s feet. For I have given
you an example, that ye should do as I have
done to you. Verily, verily, I say to you, The
servant is not greater than his lord, neither
he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do
them.”

ownership in a Ministry.
3. He had a leadership succession plan.
4. Jesus practiced servant leadership
better than anyone.
5. He was laser focused on His vision.
6. Jesus handled distractions with grace.

and replacement.
9. He held followers to high expectations.
10. Jesus cared more about people than
about rules and regulations.
11. He celebrated success in Ministry.

* Jesus submitted His own life to sacrificial service
under the will of God (Luke 22:42)
* He sacrificed his life freely out of service for
others(John 10:30).
* He came to serve (Matthew20:28) although He was
God’s son and was thus more powerful than any
other leader in the world.
* He healed the sick (Mark 7: 31-37)
* He had power over the wind and the sea and even
over death(Mark 4:35-41); Matthew 9:
