WHAT IS LPG GAS LEAKAGE
DETECTOR??
• An LPG gas sensor is a one kind of device which is used to sense the
presence of a hazardous LPG gas leak in service station, cars,
storage tanks and homes. This sensor is attached to an alarm circuit to
give an alert to the operators through a buzzer sound in the area where
the gas leak is occurring. And it automatically turn 0ff the electric power.
• The LPG Leak Detector is a wall mounted device fitted close to the
floor level with an alarm setting at 20% of Lower Explosive Limit.
Whenever there is a leak, the in-built sensor detects and alerts the user in
less than 5 minutes, much before it can cause any accidents.
• They work through sensing electrodes in the air, sending an electric
current to sound the alarm. Catalytic Bead: Using a platinum-treated
wire coil, this type of gas detector most commonly identifies combustible
gas in the air as the coil oxidises upon contact with the gas, tripping an
alarm
WHY TO USE THIS DETECTOR!
• TO AVOID UNCERTAIN CONDITION OR BLAST BECAUSE
OF LPG LEAKAGE.
• The gas detectors can be used for the detection of
combustible, flammable and poisonous gases and
for loss of oxygen, and also to detected a gas leak
or other pollutants. It makes the area where the leak
occurs an warning sound and instructs operators to
leave the area. And make the electricity of that place
turn off.

 WHAT IS THE USE OF :-)
• ARDUINO UNO- Arduino UNO is a low-cost, flexible, and easy-to-use
programmable open-source microcontroller board that can be integrated
into a variety of electronic projects .MAIN HUB.

• MQ6 gas detecting sensor:-MQ6 Gas sensor is a Metal Oxide Semiconductor

(MOS) type Gas Sensor mainly used to detect the LPG and Butane gas
concentration in the air either at home or in industry. It has four pins
positive,negative ,digital output & analog output.

• RELAY MODULE:- (5volts) Power Relay Module is one of the most simplistic
components. However, they are also one of the most important. This is because
they are the link between low-powered digital electronics and high-powered
devices. They allow digital circuits and digital microcontrollers to switch high-
powered devices on and off.it has three pins positive ,negative ,input pin.
WHAT IS THE USE OF :-)
• BRUSHLESS DC FAN:- These fans are durable, reliable, and
highly energy efficient. They do not produce sparks in the
circuit and operate noiselessly.
• BUZZER 5V:- Buzzer is used to indicate that the gas is been
leaked by making a buzz sound.
• BATTERY(9V) & SWITCH:- to give power supply
• MOTOR & LED:- Are used to show that electricity is ON and
when the gas get leak automatically the electric power supply
that is fan and light get disconnected.

• It can be used in household kitchen.

• It can to used in municipal gas distribution.
