Step 1. Open liscence file (notepad) LIC File
Step 2. Change to computer name:

- Right click “This PC” on your computer

- Go to “Properties”
- Go to “Advance system settings”
- Go to “Computer Name” tab
- Copy “Full computer name”
- Paste it on license notepad
- Save.
Step 3. Create virtual mac
address:

- Go to “advanced” in system
properties
- Click “Environment Variables”
- Click “New”
- Fill variable name & variable
value
- Click “OK” on all tabs
Step 4. Create virtual mac
address:

- Go to “This PC” on your

computer, right click…, choose
“Manage”
- Click “Device Manager”
- Go to “Action”
- Click “Add legacy hardware”
Step 5. Create virtual mac
address:

- Click “Add legacy hardware”

- Click “Next”
- Check “Instal the hardware…”
- Choose “Network adapter”
- Click “Have a disc”
Step 6. Create virtual mac
address:

- Click “Have a disc”

- Go to “Browse”
- Open “netVirtNet.inf”
- Click “Next”
- Click “OK/Finish”.
Step 6. Create virtual mac
address:

- Go to “Network adapters” on
computer management tab
- Double click “Virtual Network
Adapter”
- Copy value in license note pad
to “value”
Step 7. Install SLB License tool:

- Open “Petrel 2018” crack

- Go to “Petrel20182_64bit
- Go to “Licensing”
- Double click
“SchlumbergerLiscensingTool
…exe”
- Install the app.
Step 8. Install SLB License tool:

- Replace slbsls.exe & LIC. file to

the original one in Installed
Schlumberger Licensing
2017.1 folder
- Open “SLBlicensing” app on
(Programfiles (x86)) right
click...Run as administrator.
- Setup license file in the
Schlumberger Licensing and
start license server (next
slide).
Step 9. Setup License:

- Click “Stop”
- Click “Remove license file”
- Click “Add license file”
- Select petrel license.LIC
from programfles(x86)
- Go to “File” > “Advanced
options”
- Uncheck “Verify license
file”
- Click “Start”
- Wait until service has
started
- Click “OK”.
Step 10. Install Software:

- Open crack folder

- Right click
“Petrelplatforminstaller.exe”,
Run as administrator
- Install
- Finish.
Step 10. Install Software:

- Copy patches “182-PATCHrar”

from crack folder to “Petrel
2018” in Program Files.
- Run application.

- Right click “setup.exe”, Run as
administrator
- Install Product
- Install Eclipse 2015.1 dan Intel
MPI 5.0.2
- Finish.
Step 4. Install Software:

- Copy patched from crack

folder to Program Data (C) –
ecl – 2015.1 – bin
Step 5. Create virtual mac
address:

- Go to “This PC” on your

computer, right click…, choose
“Manage”
- Click “Device Manager”
- Go to “Action”
- Click “Add legacy hardware”
Step 6. Create virtual mac
address:

- Click “Add legacy hardware”

- Click “Next”
- Check “Instal the hardware…”
- Choose “Network adapter”
- Click “Have a disc”
Step 7. Create virtual mac
address:

- Click “Have a disc”

- Go to “Browse”
- Open “netVirtNet.inf”
- Click “Next”
- Click “OK/Finish”.
Step 8. Create virtual mac
address:

- Go to “Network adapters” on
computer management tab
- Double click “Virtual Network
Adapter”
- Copy value in license note pad
to “value”
Step 9. Install SLB License tool:

- Replace LIC. file to the original

one in Installed Schlumberger
Licensing 2017.1 folder
- Open “SLBlicensing” app on
(Programfiles (x86)) right
click...Run as administrator.
- Setup license file in the
Schlumberger Licensing and
start license server (next
slide).
Step 10. Setup License:

- Click “Stop”
- Click “Remove license file”
- Go to “File” > “Advanced
options”
- Uncheck “Verify license
file”
- Change License Usage
Settings from File to
“Folder”
- Click “Add license file”
- Select folder 2017.1 from
programfles(x86)
- Click “Start”
- Wait until service has
started
- Click “OK”.
- Run application.
