 Introduction
 Action after shock
 Protection electrical
shock - new technology
 CPR
ACTION AFTER ELECTRICAL SHOCK :-
1.Safety First:
Make sure you are safe by turning off the electricity,
disconnecting, or separating yourself from the electrical source
with non-conductive items.Contacting Help
For significant shocks or if the person seems hurt or unconscious,
call emergency assistance.
3. Determine Responsiveness:
Verify the person's consciousness. If trained, start CPR if someone
is unconscious.
4. Keep Still:
Do not move the person if there's a risk of spine or
neck injury.
5. Examine for Burns:
Look for electrical burns and cool them gently with
cool water.
6. Cover Burns:
Use a bandage or clean cloth to cover any burns.
Protection electrical shock - new technology
eSHOK-GUARD: This wearable device uses
sensors to detect electrical currents flowing
through the wearer's body. If a shock is detected,
the device sends a signal to the wearer's power
tools to shut them down immediately.

Self-Insulating Materials

arc flash suits are now widely used to protect

workers from the high temperatures and electrical
arcs that can occur during electrical accidents.
CPR:-
Shake and Shout" means first tapping the victim's
shoulder and loudly asking if they're okay to assess
responsiveness.

Call emergency

check breathing by tilting the head back, lifting the chin,

and listening for breath sounds.
hands should be placed on the center
of the victim's chest, overlapping
with fingers interlocked, and arms
straight for effective chest
compressions.
chest compressions are
performed at a rate of typically
compressions per minute. Rescue 100-120
breaths are given after 30 compressions
at a ratio of 30:2 in traditional CPR.
However, hands-only CPR without
rescue breaths is also recommended in
some situations.
