OUR PRESENCE
Robotic Arm
 The industrial robotic arm is composed of
steel or cast iron. It is constructed from the
base up to the wrist.
 A robotic controller rotates each joint's

associated motor. Hydraulic and pneumatic

systems are utilised to power some of the
bigger arms that are used to carry hefty
weights.
Robotic Arm
Robotic Arm’s Law
The laws are as follows:
 A robot may not injure a human being or,

through inaction, allow a human being to

come to harm;
 A robot must obey the orders given it by

human beings except where such orders

would conflict with the First Law;
 A robot must protect its own existence as

long as such protection does not conflict

with the First or Second Law.”
Robotic Arm Joint
 3 Robot joint type by function-
 SHOULDER JOINT-The shoulder joint sits at the
base of a robotic manipulator.
 ELBOW JOINT- The elbow joint sits in the middle of
the robotic manipulator.
 WRIST JOINT-The wrist
joint sits at the end of
the robotic
manipulator.
Robotic Arm Application
 Palletizing
 Material Handling
 Welding
 Inspection
 Pick and Place
 Assembly
 Different Mechanical Processes
 Picking and Packing
MAJOR LEARNINGS IN ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT

 Types of Welding and guns used.

 Manufacturing Electric Vehicles & Buses.

 EV Charging Infrastructure.
 Laser cutting machines.
 Renewable energy.
Types of Welding and guns used
 Resistance welding:
• Spot welding.
• Multi spot welding.
• Stationary spot welding.
• Portable spot welding.

 Projection welding:
• Nut projection welding.
• Stud projection welding.
Resistance spot welding
 Resistance welding is a welding process which join the metals
with the heat obtained from resistance offered by the work to
the flow of electrical current through the parts being joined.

 A pair of copper alloy electrodes conducts

electrical current through the two sheets
pressed between the interface. The two sheets
offer maximum resistance to the flow of current,
this generates heat, the interface melts and
consequently solidifies under the pressures of
the two electrodes, thereby joining the two sheets at the spot
that was under the two electrodes. ugh the parts being
joined.
Types of Guns used in Spot Welding
 X-TYPE GUN  C -TYPE GUN
Also known as C - guns are generally the
“scissors”or”pinch”. cheapest and the most
commonly used.
PROJECTION WELDING
 Nut Projection  Stud Projection
Welding. Welding.

• Projection Welding Is A • Stud is a form of spot

Type Of Resistance welding where a bolt or nut
Welding. is welded on another metal
• High current in less time is sheet.
the main feature of this
welding.
Manufacturing of Electric Buses
 JBM ECO-LIFE (e9 & e12) – India’s first 100% electric, zero
emission buses.
 Designed and manufactured under our ‘Think Global, Act
Local’ initiative for all markets
 Pollution free, noise free and an
ideal solution addressing environ-
mental concerns
 We provide end-to-end EV solutions
including electric buses, charging
infrastructure and EV aggregates such
as battery technologies.
EV Charging Infrastructure
 EV infrastructure is defined as structures, machinery, and
equipment necessary and integral to support a EV, including
battery charging stations, rapid charging stations, and battery
exchange stations.
LASER CUTTING MACHINE
 A laser cutting features a laser head containing a laser
focusing lens and a nozzle.
 Through the nozzle, this head and lens assembly focuses
a laser beam- a column of very high-intensity light-on the
workpiece, melting and cutting the workpiece to form the
desire shapeans size.
 The laser cutting machine works on the principle of themal
seperation.
 Yettribium laser is used.
LASER CUTTING MACHINE

 Working temp.of robotic head is 3000-4000 degree celsius.

 Oxygen helps in burning.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
 By 2030, India will be generating about 1,000GW of power.
The Government of India has laid out an ambitious target that
about 50% of this power (500GW) would be generated from
renewable sources, majorly contributed by solar energy
amongst others.
 We are excited to be playing our part in helping India realise
its renewable energy potential via JBM Renewables.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
 JBM Renewables has a highly capable team with end-to-end
project execution capabilities including design engineering,
technology management, global partnerships, effective
supply chain management, land management, project
financing and
customer support.
