What is PNR Number ?

A PNR (Passenger Name Record) number

is a unique 10-digit number that is
generated by the Indian Railways for each
train ticket booked.
The PNR number is used to identify and
retrieve the details of a specific train
reservation and includes information such
as the passenger's name, contact details,
seat or berth details, and the booking
status.
