    The RMG sector has been instrumental in empowering women
    in Bangladesh. It has provided job oppor tunities for countless
    female workers, giving them fi nancial independence and a
    chance to contribute to their family's income. This has
    contributed to improving gender equality and empowering
    women to make decisions about their lives. About 53% of the
    women worker works in garments and its increasing day by
    day. Many factories provide educational oppor tunities and
    suppor t programs for their female workers, such as literacy
    classes, vocational training, and awareness campaigns on
    health, hygiene, and women's rights. Women are not only
    working on the production lines but also holding super visor y,
    managerial, and decision-making positions within factories.
    This trend of women in leadership roles promotes gender
    equality and challenges traditional gender norms.
